* Implements Windows volume/mount supportJason T. Greene2022-04-25
| | | | | | | Based on WSL2 9p support: remaps windows paths to /mnt/<drive> locations for both podman and Docker API clients. Signed-off-by: Jason T. Greene <jason.greene@redhat.com>
* specgen-volumes: parse --mount using csv-reader instead of split by commaAditya R2022-04-22
| | | | | | | | | | | Following commit ensures that csv escaping is supported while using inline `--mount=type=......` flag with `podman run` by using `encoding/csv` to parse options instead of performing a `split.String(` by `comma`. Closes: https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/13922 Signed-off-by: Aditya R <arajan@redhat.com>
* run, mount: allow setting driver specific option using volume-optAditya R2022-04-12
| | | | | | | | | `--mount` should allow setting driver specific options using `volume-opt` when `type=volume` is set. This ensures parity with docker's `volume-opt`. Signed-off-by: Aditya R <arajan@redhat.com>
* Allow creating anonymous volumes with --mountAndrew Aylett2022-04-02
| | | | | | | | | | | This fixes #13756. All the mechanics to create anonymous volumes is already present, but there's still a validation preventing that path from being taken. We remove the validation, which allows the volume to be created successfully. Signed-off-by: Andrew Aylett <andrew@aylett.co.uk>
* fix pod volume passing and alter infra inheritancecdoern2022-03-29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | the infra Inherit function was not properly passing pod volume information to new containers alter the inherit function and struct to use the new `ConfigToSpec` function used in clone pick and choose the proper entities from a temp spec and validate them on the spegen side rather than passing directly to a config resolves #13548 Signed-off-by: cdoern <cbdoer23@g.holycross.edu> Signed-off-by: cdoern <cdoern@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: cdoern <cbdoer23@g.holycross.edu>
* pkg: support passing down options for idmapGiuseppe Scrivano2022-02-16
| | | | | | | | | | [NO NEW TESTS NEEDED] the feature is still being worked in crun: https://github.com/containers/crun/pull/874 also needs: https://github.com/containers/common/pull/927 Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* bump go module to version 4Valentin Rothberg2022-01-18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Automated for .go files via gomove [1]: `gomove github.com/containers/podman/v3 github.com/containers/podman/v4` Remaining files via vgrep [2]: `vgrep github.com/containers/podman/v3` [1] https://github.com/KSubedi/gomove [2] https://github.com/vrothberg/vgrep Signed-off-by: Valentin Rothberg <rothberg@redhat.com>
* volumes: add new option idmapGiuseppe Scrivano2021-11-18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | pass down the "idmap" mount option to the OCI runtime. Needs: https://github.com/containers/crun/pull/780 Closes: https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/12154 [NO NEW TESTS NEEDED] there is no crun version yet that support the new feature. Test case (must run as root): podman run --rm -v foo:/foo alpine touch /foo/bar podman run --uidmap 0:1:1000 --rm -v foo:/foo:idmap alpine ls -l /foo total 0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Nov 15 14:01 bar Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* volumes: allow more options for devptsGiuseppe Scrivano2021-10-28
| | | | | | | | allow to pass down more options that are supported by the kernel. Discussion here: https://github.com/containers/toolbox/issues/568 Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* volumes: do not pass mount opt as formatter stringGiuseppe Scrivano2021-10-28
| | | | | | | | | | otherwise passing a formatter string as an option causes a weird error message: $ podman run --mount type=devpts,destination=/dev/pts,%sfoo ... Error: %!s(MISSING)foo: invalid mount option Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* Add support for :U flag with --mount optionEduardo Vega2021-09-22
| | | | | | | | The :U flag can be used to change the ownership of source volumes based on the UID, GID of the container. This is only supported by the --volume option, this will allow to use --mount option as well. Signed-off-by: Eduardo Vega <edvegavalerio@gmail.com>
* Add support for mount options to APIJhon Honce2021-08-27
| | | | | | | | When creating containers the specialized mount options where not populated via the API. Fixes: #10831 Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* InfraContainer Reworkcdoern2021-08-26
InfraContainer should go through the same creation process as regular containers. This change was from the cmd level down, involving new container CLI opts and specgen creating functions. What now happens is that both container and pod cli options are populated in cmd and used to create a podSpecgen and a containerSpecgen. The process then goes as follows FillOutSpecGen (infra) -> MapSpec (podOpts -> infraOpts) -> PodCreate -> MakePod -> createPodOptions -> NewPod -> CompleteSpec (infra) -> MakeContainer -> NewContainer -> newContainer -> AddInfra (to pod state) Signed-off-by: cdoern <cdoern@redhat.com>
