| | | | | | enabled e2e tests for netavark Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* rename --cni-config-dir to --network-config-dirPaul Holzinger2022-01-18
| | | | | | | | Since this option will also be used for netavark we should rename it to something more generic. It is important that --cni-config-dir still works otherwise we could break existing container cleanup commands. Signed-off-by: Paul Holzinger <pholzing@redhat.com>
* bump go module to version 4Valentin Rothberg2022-01-18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Automated for .go files via gomove [1]: `gomove github.com/containers/podman/v3 github.com/containers/podman/v4` Remaining files via vgrep [2]: `vgrep github.com/containers/podman/v3` [1] https://github.com/KSubedi/gomove [2] https://github.com/vrothberg/vgrep Signed-off-by: Valentin Rothberg <rothberg@redhat.com>
* Refactor manifest list operationsJhon Honce2022-01-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * Update method/function signatures use the manifest list name and images associated with the operation explicitly, in general func f(ctx context.Context, manifestListName string, ImageNames []string, options *fOptions) * Leverage gorilla/mux Subrouters to support API v3.x and v4.x for manifests * Make manifest API endpoints more RESTful * Add PUT /manifest/{id} to update existing manifests * Add manifests.Annotate to go bindings, uncommented unit test * Add DELETE /manifest/{Id} to remove existing manifest list, use PUT /manifest/{id} to remove images from a list * Deprecated POST /manifest/{id}/add and /manifest/{id}/remove, use PUT /manifest/{id} instead * Corrected swagger godoc and updated to cover API changes * Update podman manifest commands to use registry.Context() * Expose utils.GetVar() to obtain query parameters by name * Unexpose server.registerSwaggerHandlers, not sure why this was ever exposed. * Refactored code to use http.Header instead of map[string]string when operating on HTTP headers. * Add API-Version header support in bindings to allow calling explicate versions of the API. Header is _NOT_ forwarded to the API service. Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* Avoid collisions on RemoteSocket pathsMiloslav Trmač2022-01-03
| | | | | | | Add lock files and re-generate the UUID if we are not a known-unique user of the socket path. Signed-off-by: Miloslav Trmač <mitr@redhat.com>
* Image caches: allow overriding cache dirEd Santiago2021-12-01
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Images were being cached in /tmp, with no option to override. Now $PODMAN_TEST_IMAGE_CACHE_DIR can be used to point to a user-preferred location. If unset, try $TMPDIR before settling on /tmp. Also: refactor the logic for determining the tarball name. Also: include registry name in tarball name. Also: clean up unused/unnecessary code Also: do not echo "Restoring..." if we're not actually restoring. Signed-off-by: Ed Santiago <santiago@redhat.com>
* Rename CrioRoot as just RootEd Santiago2021-12-01
| | | | | | | ...and remove other uses of "crio". They're confusing and misleading. (I'm sure it made sense at one time) Signed-off-by: Ed Santiago <santiago@redhat.com>
* e2e tests: enable golintEd Santiago2021-11-29
| | | | | | ...and fix problems found therewith. Signed-off-by: Ed Santiago <santiago@redhat.com>
* test connection addJhon Honce2021-11-08
| | | | | | | | | | * Fix connection JSON encoding * Add custom ginkgo matchers for connection testing * Cleanup code Fixes #11984 Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* test: run --cgroups=split in new cgroupGiuseppe Scrivano2021-11-04
| | | | | | | | | | the --cgroups=split test changes the current cgroup as it creates a sub-cgroup. This can cause a race condition in tests that are reading the current cgroup. Closes: https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/11191 Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* Document CONTAINERS_CONF/CONTAINERS_STORAGE_CONF Env variablesDaniel J Walsh2021-03-10
| | | | | | | Also Switch to using CONTAINERS_REGISTRIES_CONF for registries.conf overrides. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* bump go module to v3Valentin Rothberg2021-02-22
| | | | | | | | | We missed bumping the go module, so let's do it now :) * Automated go code with github.com/sirkon/go-imports-rename * Manually via `vgrep podman/v2` the rest Signed-off-by: Valentin Rothberg <rothberg@redhat.com>
* Remove varlink support from PodmanDaniel J Walsh2020-11-26
| | | | Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* use lookaside storage for remote testsbaude2020-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | in an effort to speed up the remote testing, we should be using lookaside storage to avoid pull images as well as importing multiple images into the RW store. one test was removed and added into system test by Ed in #8325 Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Make all Skips specify a reasonDaniel J Walsh2020-09-29
| | | | | | Always use CGROUPV2 rather then reading from system all the time. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* Remove some SkipIfRootess flags from testsDaniel J Walsh2020-09-25
| | | | | | | We need to get more tests running in rootless mode. Since cgroupsV2 allows management of cgroups in rootless environments a lot of more tests can be run. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* e2e tests: SkipIfRemote(): add a reasonEd Santiago2020-09-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that Dan has added helpful comments to each SkipIfRemote, let's take the next step and include those messages in the Skip() output so someone viewing test results can easily see if a remote test is skipped for a real reason or for a FIXME. This commit is the result of a simple: perl -pi -e 's;(SkipIfRemote)\(\)(\s+//\s+(.*))?;$1("$3");' *.go in the test/e2e directory, with a few minor (manual) changes in wording. Signed-off-by: Ed Santiago <santiago@redhat.com>
* Fix up attach tests for podman remoteDaniel J Walsh2020-09-22
| | | | | | | | | | | When we execute podman-remote attach, we were not checking if the container was in the correct state, this is leading to timeouts and we had turned off remote testing. Also added an IfRemote() function so we can turn on more tests when using the "-l" flag for local, but use container name for remote. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* Switch all references to github.com/containers/libpod -> podmanDaniel J Walsh2020-07-28
| | | | Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>

| | | | Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* Error on rootless mac and ip addressesBrent Baude2020-07-15
| | | | | | | | When creating a pod or container where a static MAC or IP address is provided, we should return a proper error and exit as 125. Fixes: #6972 Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Vendor in new version of BuildahDaniel J Walsh2020-07-09
| | | | | | This also pulls in latest runc and containers/common Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>

* move go module to v2Valentin Rothberg2020-07-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With the advent of Podman 2.0.0 we crossed the magical barrier of go modules. While we were able to continue importing all packages inside of the project, the project could not be vendored anymore from the outside. Move the go module to new major version and change all imports to `github.com/containers/libpod/v2`. The renaming of the imports was done via `gomove` [1]. * V2 Add support for ssh authentication methodsJhon Honce2020-06-03
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * podman --remote ssh://<user>:<password>@<host>:<port><path> * podman --remote ssh://<user>:<password>@<host>:<port><path> \ --identity <path> --passphrase <phrase> * ssh-add <key> podman --remote ssh://<user>@<host><path> * Fix `podman help` to run even if podman missing components * Prompt for passphrase on stdin IFF key is protected and passphrase not given via any other configuration * cobra flags do not support optional value flags therefore refactored --remote to be a boolean and --url will now contain the URI to Podman service Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
