* Report StatusConflict on Pod opt partial failuresJhon Honce2021-02-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - When one or more containers in the Pod reports an error on an operation report StatusConflict and report the error(s) - jsoniter type encoding used to marshal error as string using error.Error() - Update test framework to allow setting any flag when creating pods - Fix test_resize() result check Fixes #8865 Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* Add Networks format placeholder to podman ps and pod psPaul Holzinger2021-01-09
| | | | | | | `podman ps --format {{.Networks}}` will show all connected networks for this container. For `pod ps` it will show the infra container networks. Signed-off-by: Paul Holzinger <paul.holzinger@web.de>
* Add network filter for podman ps and pod psPaul Holzinger2021-01-09
| | | | | | | Allow to filter on the network name or full id. For pod ps it will filter on the infra container networks. Signed-off-by: Paul Holzinger <paul.holzinger@web.de>
* Disable incompatible rootless + CGroupsV1 testsChris Evich2020-12-15
| | | | | | | | | | These tests simply will not work under these conditions. Note: Recently updated F32 (prior-fedora) and Ubuntu 20.04 (prior-ubuntu) VMs always use CGroupsV1 with runc. F33 and Ubuntu 20.10 were updated to always use CGroupsV2 with crun. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <cevich@redhat.com>
* Align the podman pod ps --filter behavior with podman psPaul Holzinger2020-11-18
| | | | | | | | | Filters with the same key work inclusive with the only exception being `label` which is exclusive. Filters with different keys always work exclusive. Also update the documentation with the new behavior. Signed-off-by: Paul Holzinger <paul.holzinger@web.de>

* Restore --format table...Jhon Honce2020-10-08
| | | | | | | | | | | | Following commands: * systemd generate * networks inspect * pod stats * Fixed test where format was quoted and then quoted again * Fixed bug where output never printed '--' on missed reads * pod ps Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* Allow filtering on pod label valuesJordan Christiansen2020-09-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before this change, filters of the form `podman pod ps --filter label=app=myapp` were not working. The results would include all pods that contained the app label with any value. Looking at the code, this makes sense. It appears that the second = and everything after it were getting truncated. Even though there was already a passing test that tested `podman pod ps --filter label=io.podman.test.label=value1`, the test failed with the above example with a label `app=myapp`. The new code works in both cases. Signed-off-by: Jordan Christiansen <xordspar0@gmail.com>
* e2e tests: SkipIfRemote(): add a reasonEd Santiago2020-09-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that Dan has added helpful comments to each SkipIfRemote, let's take the next step and include those messages in the Skip() output so someone viewing test results can easily see if a remote test is skipped for a real reason or for a FIXME. This commit is the result of a simple: perl -pi -e 's;(SkipIfRemote)\(\)(\s+//\s+(.*))?;$1("$3");' *.go in the test/e2e directory, with a few minor (manual) changes in wording. | | | | | | | | Remove ones that are not needed. Document those that should be there. Document those that should be fixed. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>

* move go module to v2Valentin Rothberg2020-07-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With the advent of Podman 2.0.0 we crossed the magical barrier of go modules. While we were able to continue importing all packages inside of the project, the project could not be vendored anymore from the outside. Move the go module to new major version and change all imports to `github.com/containers/libpod/v2`. The renaming of the imports was done via `gomove` [1]. * Add support for format {{.Label}}Brent Baude2020-06-01
| | | | | | | | the pod ps man page says .Label is valid go template format. i dont think the function was actually ever implemented. Fixes #6448 Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>

* Enable pod ps integration testsBrent Baude2020-04-25
| | | | | | | | Enable integration tests for pod ps. In addition, fixed bug where output was still using slice go template routines and would fail when no infra container was present. Added integration test to prevent future regressions. Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Force integration tests to passBrent Baude2020-04-21
| | | | | | Failing tests are now skipped and we should work from this. Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Support label filters for podman pod ps.Stefano Pogliani2020-03-26
| | | | | | | | Update the podman pod ps command to support filtering by labels. This brings the command in line with the documentation as well as the functionality by the containers equivalent podman ps. Signed-off-by: Stefano Pogliani <stefano@spogliani.net>
* Refactor tests when checking for error exit codesJhon Honce2019-10-16
| | | | | | | Rather than checking for non-zero, we need to check for >0 to distinguish between timeouts and error exit codes. Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>
* use imagecaches for local testsbaude2019-05-29
| | | | | | | | | when doing localized tests (not varlink), we can use secondary image stores as read-only image caches. this cuts down on test time significantly because each test does not need to restore the images from a tarball anymore. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* enable integration tests for remote-clientbaude2019-05-07
| | | | | | | first pass at enabling a swath of integration tests for the remote-client. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* ginkgo status improvementsbaude2019-03-08

* Run integrations test with remote-clientbaude2019-01-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add the ability to run the integration (ginkgo) suite using the remote client. Only the images_test.go file is run right now; all the rest are isolated with a // +build !remotelinux. As more content is developed for the remote client, we can unblock the files and just block single tests as needed. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Separate common used test functions and structs to test/utilsYiqiao Pu2018-11-16
| | | | | | | Put common used test functions and structs to a separated package. So we can use them for more testsuites. Signed-off-by: Yiqiao Pu <ypu@redhat.com>
* Added option to share kernel namespaces in libpod and podmanhaircommander2018-08-23
| | | | | | | | | A pause container is added to the pod if the user opts in. The default pause image and command can be overridden. Pause containers are ignored in ps unless the -a option is present. Pod inspect and pod ps show shared namespaces and pause container. A pause container can't be removed with podman rm, and a pod can be removed if it only has a pause container. * Show duration for each ginkgo test and test speed improvementsbaude2018-07-28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Because our tests are getting so long, we want to be able to audit which tests are taking the longest to complete. This may indicate a bad test, bad CI, bad code, etc and therefore should be auditable. Also, make speed improvements to tests by making sure we only unpack caches images that actually get used.
