* Force --all when --filter is passed to podman psMatthew Heon2020-02-04
| | | | | | | | | | When we filter, it should be out of all containers, not just running ones, by default - this is necessary to ensure Docker compatability. Fixes #5050 Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <mheon@redhat.com>

|\ | | | | [Issue #4703] Add the pod name when we use `podman ps -p`
| * Add the pod name when we use `podman ps -p`Neville Cain2019-12-28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The pod name does not appear when doing `podman ps -p`. It is missing as the documentation says: -p, --pod Print the ID and name of the pod the containers are associated with The pod name is added in the ps output and checked in unit tests. Closes #4703 Signed-off-by: NevilleC <neville.cain@qonto.eu>
* | The --quiet flag does not conflict with templates in psMatthew Heon2019-12-26
|/ | | | | | | | To match Docker behavior, make `--quiet` and `--format` with a Go template not conflict. Instead, just turn off `--quiet` in such cases, as we'll be using Go template output instead. Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <matthew.heon@pm.me>
* Refactor tests when checking for error exit codesJhon Honce2019-10-16
| | | | | | | Rather than checking for non-zero, we need to check for >0 to distinguish between timeouts and error exit codes. Signed-off-by: Jhon Honce <jhonce@redhat.com>

| * tests: enable ps --size tests for rootlessGiuseppe Scrivano2019-10-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | rootless podman is using a single user namespace for all the containers so it can safely access the storage for all of them. Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>

* support podman ps filter regular expressionsQi Wang2019-07-18
| | | | | | podman ps --filter use regexp to match the container name. Signed-off-by: Qi Wang <qiwan@redhat.com>
* Fix a segfault in 'podman ps --sync'Matthew Heon2019-06-24
| | | | | | | | | | We weren't properly populating the container's OCI Runtime in Batch(), causing segfaults on attempting to access it. Add a test to make sure we actually catch cases like this in the future. Fixes #3411 Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <matthew.heon@pm.me>
* use imagecaches for local testsbaude2019-05-29
| | | | | | | | | when doing localized tests (not varlink), we can use secondary image stores as read-only image caches. this cuts down on test time significantly because each test does not need to restore the images from a tarball anymore. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* enable integration tests for remote-clientbaude2019-05-07

* ginkgo status improvementsbaude2019-03-08
| | | | | | | a series of improvements to our ginkgo test framework so we can get better ideas of whats going on when run in CI Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Add tests to make sure podman container and podman image commands workDaniel J Walsh2019-03-02
| | | | | | | | | We have little to no testing to make sure we don't break podman image and podman container commands that wrap traditional commands. This PR adds tests for each of the commands. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* Fix regression in ps with custom formatbaude2019-01-30
| | | | | | | | | Using the table keyword in go templating had regressed and was no longer working. Fixes: 2221 Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Run integrations test with remote-clientbaude2019-01-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add the ability to run the integration (ginkgo) suite using the remote client. Only the images_test.go file is run right now; all the rest are isolated with a // +build !remotelinux. As more content is developed for the remote client, we can unblock the files and just block single tests as needed. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Separate common used test functions and structs to test/utilsYiqiao Pu2018-11-16
| | | | | | | Put common used test functions and structs to a separated package. So we can use them for more testsuites. Signed-off-by: Yiqiao Pu <ypu@redhat.com>
* Fix handling of multiple filters in podman psMatthew Heon2018-08-27
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Docker expects multiple filters to be passed with multiple uses of the --filter flag (e.g. --filter=label=a=b --filter=label=c=d) and not a single comma-separated list of filters as we expected. Convert to the Docker format, and make some small cleanups to our handling of filters along the way. Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <matthew.heon@gmail.com> Closes: #1345 Approved by: umohnani8
* Added option to share kernel namespaces in libpod and podmanhaircommander2018-08-23
| | | | | | | | | A pause container is added to the pod if the user opts in. The default pause image and command can be overridden. Pause containers are ignored in ps unless the -a option is present. Pod inspect and pod ps show shared namespaces and pause container. A pause container can't be removed with podman rm, and a pod can be removed if it only has a pause container. Signed-off-by: haircommander <pehunt@redhat.com> Closes: #1187 Approved by: mheon

* Show duration for each ginkgo test and test speed improvementsbaude2018-07-28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Because our tests are getting so long, we want to be able to audit which tests are taking the longest to complete. This may indicate a bad test, bad CI, bad code, etc and therefore should be auditable. Also, make speed improvements to tests by making sure we only unpack caches images that actually get used. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com> Closes: #1178 Approved by: mheon
* Fix ps --sort=size testMatthew Heon2018-07-13
| | | | | | | I don't know how the previous test was succeeding, as we never actually fetched the sizes to sort with. The test now does. Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <mheon@redhat.com>
* Added --sort to pshaircommander2018-06-19
| | | | | | | | | Also podman ps now allows user to only output size of root FS, changed language of images and ps --sort to be by "created" as opposed to "time", and refactored the way templates are created (converted from psJSONParams type). Signed-off-by: haircommander <pehunt@redhat.com> Closes: #948 Approved by: rhatdan
* Temporarily turn of ps --last test until fixedMatthew Heon2018-06-14

* sleep does not catch SIGTERMbaude2018-03-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | As Matt pointed out, when running sleep in a container, the clean up was taking a full ten seconds to stop container because sleep does not catch SIGTERM which is the default podman stop signal and it had to wait for SIGKILL. Changing sleep to top should result in better test times. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com> Closes: #492 Approved by: rhatdan
* Fix when the --format flag prints a new line at the endumohnani82018-02-07
| | | | | | | | | | | If the output is to a terminal, return a new line at the end of the output so that the output is visually appealing. If the output is being piped, or saved to a file, basically not being outputted to a terminal, do not print a new line at the end of the output. This ensures any further data manipulation with the results happens smoothly without requiring to remember the '/n' at the end of the output. Signed-off-by: umohnani8 <umohnani@redhat.com>
* Migrate kill tests to ginkgobaude2018-02-01
| | | | | | | | | | Migrate kill tests to the ginkgo suite and remove the podman_kill bats. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com> Closes: #281 Approved by: baude
* Ginkgo Tests: ps, pull, push and rmbaude2018-01-31
Migrate ps, pull, push, and rm from bats to ginkgo. Also, fixed a conditional issue with adding ports when an image defines the port and the user wants to override it. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com> Closes: #277 Approved by: baude
