* move go module to v2Valentin Rothberg2020-07-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With the advent of Podman 2.0.0 we crossed the magical barrier of go modules. While we were able to continue importing all packages inside of the project, the project could not be vendored anymore from the outside. Move the go module to new major version and change all imports to `github.com/containers/libpod/v2`. The renaming of the imports was done via `gomove` [1]. * Fix handling of systemd.Daniel J Walsh2020-06-05
| | | | | | | | | | Systemd enablement has to happen on the server side, since we need check if the image is running systemd. Also need to make sure user setting the StopSignal is not overriden on the server side. But if not set and using systemd, we set it correctly. Signed-off-by: Daniel J Walsh <dwalsh@redhat.com>
* Reenable systemd E2E testsMatthew Heon2020-05-06
| | | | | | All functionality these require should be ported. Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <mheon@redhat.com>
* Force integration tests to passBrent Baude2020-04-21
| | | | | | Failing tests are now skipped and we should work from this. Signed-off-by: Brent Baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* systemd: expect full path /usr/sbin/initGiuseppe Scrivano2019-10-09
| | | | | | | | | | | | "init" is a quite common name for the command executed in a container image and Podman ends up using the systemd mode also when not required. Be stricter on enabling the systemd mode and not enable it automatically when the basename is "init" but expect the full path "/usr/sbin/init". Signed-off-by: Giuseppe Scrivano <gscrivan@redhat.com>
* Temporarily disable systemd test for CGroups V2Matthew Heon2019-08-28
| | | | | | | Revert this one CGroups V2 support for systemd containers is added. Signed-off-by: Matthew Heon <mheon@redhat.com>
* Add an integration test for systemd in a containerMatthew Heon2019-08-28

* use imagecaches for local testsbaude2019-05-29
| | | | | | | | | when doing localized tests (not varlink), we can use secondary image stores as read-only image caches. this cuts down on test time significantly because each test does not need to restore the images from a tarball anymore. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Enable rootless integration testsbaude2019-03-19

* ginkgo status improvementsbaude2019-03-08
| | | | | | | a series of improvements to our ginkgo test framework so we can get better ideas of whats going on when run in CI Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* Fix SystemExec completion raceChris Evich2019-03-01
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Some callers assume when SystemExec returns, the command has completed. Other callers explicitly wait for completion (as required). However, forgetting to do that is an incredibly easy mistake to make. Fix this by adding an explicit parameter to the function. This requires every caller to deliberately state whether or not a completion-check is required. Also address **many** resource naming / cleanup completion-races. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <cevich@redhat.com>
* Run integrations test with remote-clientbaude2019-01-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add the ability to run the integration (ginkgo) suite using the remote client. Only the images_test.go file is run right now; all the rest are isolated with a // +build !remotelinux. As more content is developed for the remote client, we can unblock the files and just block single tests as needed. Signed-off-by: baude <bbaude@redhat.com>
* e2e: add tests for systemdEmilien Macchi2018-12-12
Add functional tests to start a container from systemd. This patch will: - create a systemd unit file to start redis container - create the container with `podman create` - enable the service - start the container with systemd - check that the service is actually running Signed-off-by: Emilien Macchi <emilien@redhat.com>
