<p>Das <code>submit</code> Event tritt ein, wenn ein Formular (<code>&lt;form ...&gt;&lt;/form&gt;</code>) abgeschickt wird.</p>

<p>Es gilt zu beachten, dass das <code>submit</code> Event <strong>nur</strong> auf dem Formularelement ausgelöst wird. Der auslösende <code>&lt;button&gt;</code> oder <code>&lt;input type="submit" ... /&gt;</code> erhalten das Event nicht (Es wird das Formular abgeschickt, nicht der Button).</p>
