<p>L'objet retourné est une liste {{domxref("StyleSheetList")}}.</p>

<p>Il s'agit d'une collection ordonnée d'objets {{domxref("StyleSheet")}}. <code><em>styleSheetList</em>.item(<em>index</em>)</code> ou  <code><em>styleSheetList</em>{{ mediawiki.External('<em>index</em>') }}</code> retourne un seul objet stylesheet par son <code>index </code>(<code>index</code> débute par 0).</p>
