<p>Das <strong>HTML-Element <code><caption></code> </strong>(oder auch HTML-Tabellenüberschrift-Element) stellt den Titel einer Tabelle dar. Somit ist dieses immer das erste untergeordnete Element einer Tabelle ({{HTMLElement("table")}}). Das Layout wird über CSS festegelegt, es ist relativ zur Tabelle.</p>
