In Mozilla, persistent attributes are stored in the per-profile file <code>localstore.rdf</code>. Persistence can also be stored using the <code>document.persist</code> function. In order for persistence to work, the element must also have an <code id="a-id"><a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/zh-CN/docs/Mozilla/Tech/XUL/Attribute/id">id</a></code>.</dd>
